The NMSU Foundation is a separately incorporated, nonprofit organization developed solely for the benefit of New Mexico State University. The Foundation is approved by the IRS as a charitable, tax-exempt organization and is registered with the New Mexico State Corporation Commission. |

The purpose of the Foundation is to secure, manage, and invest private gifts for the benefit of NMSU's teaching, research, extension education and public service programs. Gifts for current-use or permanent endowment are invited. |

The Foundation utilizes an Investment Committee composed of members with expertise in banking and finance and are responsible for determining the most favorable manner to invest and manage both the NMSU and NMSU Foundation endowment funds.
The Investment Committee is responsible for the Foundation's investment portfolio.
This Investment Committee seeks to maintain a portfolio which promotes the growth of the fund's principal while protecting against inflation. |
