An investment in the College of Business is an investment in our students’ education and careers. Our students leave ready to compete with the best graduates from around the country. We have graduates who hold top positions in some of the largest and most well known companies in the world. In order to build on that success we need the support of our alumni and friends.
Your contributions help us provide scholarships, directed learning experiences and smaller classrooms for our students, enabling them to successfully meet the challenges that lie before them when they graduate. Let’s make education our common purpose. We ask that you help by investing in our students and their future in the world of business.

The College of Business first opened in 1964 with ten faculty members. Today, it is the largest business college in New Mexico with more than 70 faculty members and 2200 students, 45% of which are minority.
The Business Complex was designed by Dean/Hunt and Associates and completed in 1984.
The bronze statue in the courtyard, created by NMSU alumnus Duke Sundt, is titled "The Traders." The Business Advisory Council commissioned Sundt to create a bronze sculpture that would incorporate artistic reflections of New Mexico—its people, heritage and natural beauty—into our educational and professional environment. The Santa Fe style bronze sculpture, 1.2 life-size, was completed in 1988 and is located on the College of Business plaza between the Business Complex and Guthrie Hall.
